10 year Eagle Rare Single Barrel
I have recently acquired a bottle of the 10 year, Single Barrel, Eagle Rare Bourbon. The bottle I have was purchased during a recent search for Hirsch Bourbon.
The particular bottle I have is one of a special bottling for Lukas Liquor. They tasted 8 barrels before choosing their own. It was bottled and sold for a mere 22 bucks each.
TF6S gave his review from the Whiskies of the World Expo of 2005 (albeit the 17 year instead of the 10 year). Eagle Rare truly is another beautiful spirit from the masters at Buffalo Trace.
Regardless of what anybody can say about it; you don't find many world class, 10 year, 90-proof, single barrel bourbons for $22 a bottle. A big thanks to Lukas Liquor for an amazing deal!
