A thousand apologies for the hiatus; I've been hanging with the hoodoos. I should be on a couple times this week.

I'm not dead yet...

...just slightly pissy. As you can see, I haven't been on the site in a couple weeks. A few minutes ago, I was writing about my experience at the midnight showing of Episode III when my computer totally locked up. Lost it. Post go bye-bye. ::sigh:: Looks like I'll have to recreate it tomorrow.

I do apologize for being AWOL for the last three weeks. But those who live life to the fullest are not the ones who have time to document it...or, something like that. Thanks for stopping by, if you are stopping by.

The Eyes Of Texas Are Upon You

I am writing from the Austin, TX Airport. It has been a good weekend. I came in for the wedding of one of my best friends in the world. It's been a nice change of scenery. I mean, I miss the fam a bunch, but the weather in Colorado has been pretty crappy this past week.

This was my first trip to Austin. I will definitely be coming back to visit. A great town to have some fun.

The weekend was a normal wedding weekend; hanging out with family and friends, running those last minute errands, dinners, etc. The actual ceremony was today. What a gorgeous day for it. 79 degrees, light breeze, and not too many clouds in the sky. Everything came together without a hitch and the bride and groom are off to Jamaica for a week. Lucky dogs.

I'm on the tail end of my trip getting on a plane in a couple hours or so. I just finished some brisket from The Salt Lick. Heavenly...
